40 or 41. The number will forever remain a mystery. But most of us were comfortable with 40. Round figure n stuff. 41 sounds odd. Doesnt it??
A couple of days back, there was a gathering. Initiative taken by Mr. Manish Kumar Jain. When the bill came, nobody bothered to pay. Manish happily paid the bill, as he used to in college. As we were leaving for the day, Arihant described it as Manish's party for marriage. Of course, Arihant in the same breath also ackowledged the fact that it wasnt the first time he was attending Manish's marriage party. Not quite modest, but very much an "Arihantism". All of us left with a happy heart & a happier wallet. Just joking!!!
During the dinner, Killer mooted the idea of starting a blog. All were "Ayes" to the motion. But who will do the dirty job. I said, "I will do it." It wasnt that the gathering was less competent in their writing skills, its just that being the official "bhaand" of our batch, I was morally responsible to undertake the said assignment. Also the fact that most of the guys are too busy with the two "b"s. Biwi & Business. The third "b" could be just round the corner. (Guys, really no prizes for guessing this "B"). I am fairly lukha these days. Also Gargoo was hell bent on mutating our pyara BFIA yahoo groups mail box into a "forward monster". ( I will talk to his MD & disallow net access to him. God Save those who receive his forwards)
So, what will be this blog all about? Since, I am the architect of the blog (All BFIA 'ns have equal right in expressing their views), so here is a chain of thought -
a) We will begin by briefly describing the selection process as I saw it & many of us
b) We will study in detail each professor who taught us
c) Key stories (Like Arun's ketchup factory or Joshi's Reliance take over)
c) News, Marriage invites are a welcome
d) No aspersions of any sort towards anybody
e) Given the permission, I would like to be the moderator for the blog. People can supply me with info & the same can be penned down on the site. (Though Arihant is definitely a far better story teller then me, but he has constraints)
Views are invited towards how to make the blog more interesting.
So, happy reading. I will try and make the site as informative & enjoyable as possible.
Love to all BFIA'ns
